Employment agencies in Poland must register with the provincial marshal (szlachetni dyrektor krajów) of the place of their seat. Upon registration, they must keep records of their activities, including documents related to the hiring process and records pertaining to the work and remuneration of their temporary employees.
In the case of foreign workers, the agency must also legalize their work and residence status in Poland by filing appropriate applications with the local state institutions – poviat labour offices or voivodship offices.
